As you may have heard, we have sold cloudhouse café & gallery and our last day will be Sunday 7th June. But not to worry, it will continue as a café as before.
The café will be closed from Monday 8th of June for a week and re-open on Tuesday 16 June under new ownership.
We wish the new owners, Susan and Ronnie Gordon, the best of luck and and hope that you will make them feel welcome and give them your support.
Cloudhouse Cafe & Gallery
Occupying the premises of the former grocers shop at Townfoot, Cloudhouse Cafe offers delicious, fresh home cooking, cakes and baking. Our’s is the best coffee in the borders (we think, and many customers agree!). We are licensed and have a range of organic ales and ciders as well as an impressive wine list.
The gallery features local and Scottish artists and we stock a range of contemporary jewellery and crafts - perfect if you’re looking for a unique and unusual gift.
Cloudhouse Supper Events
Cloudhouse also host monthly evening supper events. These offer a delicious fixed supper (vegetarian option available) with entertainment, often live music.
Our supper events are very popular and great fun, make sure you book early!

We are open Tuesday to Saturday 10:30am to 4:30 pm and Sundays 10:30am to 5pm.

At Cloudhouse we are passionate about bringing you delicious and nutritious food in relaxed, welcoming surroundings. Our food is made using the finest ingredients with a focus on organic, seasonal and locally sourced products.
We welcome children and are happy to accommodate special diets, so please let us know if you have any particular requirements.
Good food shouldn’t “cost the earth” and we make every effort to care for the environment. At Cloudhouse we heat with biomass, recycle, compost and use environmentally friendly packaging and suppliers.
